Learn to draw and paint dreamy (or moody) oysters for the perfect additional to your coastal decor. You will start with learning to draw the classic oyster shell shape and then we will dive into the watercolor techniques that achieve the muted and dramatic interior of the design. You will leave with a masterpiece of your own creation and the supplies to create a companion piece at home.
A perfect class for beginners as well as more experienced watercolor enthusiasts.
Ages 13+. Class duration: 75-90 minutes.
An introduction to watercolor class that will inspire, instruct and prepare you for your favorite new hobby. Maria will provide an overview of materials, teach you all the basics and equip you to create some gorgeous masterpieces. We will create a summer inspired project in class and you will even leave with a sampling of supplies to continue your journey.
No prior watercolor experience necessary. Ages 13 and up.
Classes are approximately 90 minutes.
The perfect tote does exist!
Participants will create their own painted jute tote with some help from predesigned outlines to trace. Have something one of a kind in mind? Maria will help you compose a bag design that is uniquely you. You’ll trace your design first, then Maria will assist with mixing colors and get you started on painting your perfect market tote.
Relax the time away, painting a bag you will treasure, that you made yourself.
All materials provided. Just bring your creativity!
